Jean (Brown) Montgomery, a graduate of City Park Collegiate in Saskatoon, enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan (B.A., 1938) in 1935.
She was a member of the tennis team for two years, capturing the intervarsity singles title and teaming with Helen McKellar to win the doubles championship in 1937-38.
Jean was on the basketball team for three years and on the track & field team for two.
She was president of the Women's Athletic Directorate in 1937-38 and a member of the Students Representative Council that same year.
