Ellis McMillan was an outstanding basketball player with teh Huskies for four seasons - 1923-24, 1924-25, 1925-26 and 1927-28 - highlighted by winning the Rigby Cup as Western Intercollegiate champions in both 1924 and 1925.
He went on to coach the Huskies in 1931-32. He also coached the university grads and the Raymond Union Jacks in Alberta.
Ellis was also a member of the varsity tennis team for four years. After graduation, he was the provincial singles champion for four consecutive years.
