Margaret (Richardson) Hulings enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan (B.A., 1940; B. Ed., 1950) in 1938.
She played guard on the Huskiette basketball team for four years and was captain of the club in 1940-41. Margaret was on the fencing team for three years. She was the only female on the team in 1939.
She received a Major Athletic Award in 1941. She was president of the Women's Athletic Directorate in 1939-40.
