Lois Haslam, a graduate of Havergal College in Toronto, enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan (B. Sc., 1937) in 1933.
Lois was a member of the track & field team for three years, the basketball team for two years and the swimming team for one year.
In the 1934-35 swim season, she placed second in individual scoring and received her Senior Colour. She excelled at guard in basketball.
In addition to competing in athletics, Lois was secretary of the Women's Athletic Directorate for two years and became president in 1936-37. She was also a member of the Stduents Representative Council.
