Kay (Probert) Campbell, a graduate of Central Collegiate in Moose Jaw, enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan (B.S. N., 1946) in 1942.
An outstanding guard, she played on the basketball team for three years and was captain in 1942-43. She competed in freestyle, side and breaststroke on the swim team, as well as on the diving team.
Kay served on the Women's Athletic Board for two years.
She was awarded the prestigious Spirit of the Youth Trophy in 1944 for leadership, sportsmanship, athletics and academics among University athletes.
