Catherine "Fuzzy" (Bergin) Cherry enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan (B.A., 1942) in 1938.
She was a member of the track & field team for four years. In addition to competing in track, she was manager of the team for two years. She played on the Huskiette basketball team for three years, earning her senior colours in 1939.
She received a Major Athletic Award in 1941.
She was a two year member of the Women's Athletic Directorate, serving as vice-president.
