Fourth-year University of Saskatchewan wrestler Katie Dutchak was named the Canada West’s Most Outstanding Female Wrestler for the second straight year after striking gold once again.

The fourth-year Business student from Saskatoon stood on top of the podium in the 48-kg weight class after sailing through her five bouts at the Canada West championship without having a single point scored against her. A year earlier, Dutchak was crowned champion in the 51-kg category.

Dutchak’s gold medal helped secure the Huskies’ its first-ever conference title in women’s wrestling.
