  1. The Huskies are coming off a successful weekend on the West coast which saw them pick up four points with a win over UNBC and a draw with the No. 5 ranked UBC Thunderbirds.
  2. The Spartans are the fourth team ranked in the CIS Top 10 that the Huskies will face this season. Saskatchewan is 0-2-1 against Top 10 teams.
  3. This weekend's visit will be the first by the Spartans since 2012 and the first time the Cascades visit Saskatoon since 2013.
  4. The Huskies will look to heat up from the friendly confines of Field 7 where they will play their next four matches. Friday's match will be the second of three Friday afternoon matches the Huskies will play this season. Match time is 12:30pm.
  5.  Saskatchewan has scored two goals against Fraser Valley in four consecutive meetings posting a 3-0-1 record over that stretch.

Scouting The Spartans

The Spartans enter the weekend with a three point lead in the Canada West Pacific Division after posting a 6-1-1 record to start the season.

Elijah Adekugbe leads the Spartans with five goals this season. Adekugbe sits tied for fourth in the conference in that category and is third in the Canada West with eight points.

The nationally ranked Spartans (No. 4) knocked off the MacEwan Griffins 4-2 at home on Saturday after settling for a 1-1 draw with the No. 9 Mount Royal Cougars on Friday.

Scouting The Cascades

The Fraser Valley Cascades enter the weekend tied for third in the Canada West Pacific Divison. The Cascades will take on the Winnipeg Wesmen in Winnipeg on Friday before heading to Saskatoon for Sunday's match.

The Cascades have strugged to get on the scoreboard in their last four matches scoring just two goals while posting a 1-2-1 record. Last weekend, Fraser Valley defeated the MacEwan Griffins 1-0 before dropping a 4-0 decision to the No. 9 Mount Royal Cougars at home.

Fraser Valley is led offensively by striker Daniel Davidson and midfielder Justin Sekhon who have each notched a pair of goals this season.
