  1. The Huskies are still searching for their first victory of the 2016 campaign after a pair of losses on a tough Calgary road trip to open the season.
  2. Saskatchewan has never lost to MacEwan in Canada West play, with a 4-0 record.

  4. Saturday's match is slated as the Innagural Bateman Cup. The game is meant to honour Reginald Bateman and all who have lost their lives defending our country.

Scouting The Griffins

The Griffins are coming off a bye weekend after opening their season with a pair of losses to the Mount Royal Cougars and Calgary Dinos. The Griffins dropped a tough 2-1 decision to the Cougars to open the season before falling 4-0 to the Dinos.

Samuel Foster has the lone goal for the Griffins in 2016.

Joshua Letendre has started both games in goal for MacEwan. Letendre has made 11 saves on 17 shots. 

Scouting The Golden Bears

The Golden Bears have raced out to an early lead in the Canada West Prairie Division standings after recording four straight victories to open the season.

The Bears have defeated Calgary (1-0), Mount Royal (1-0), Winnipeg (4-2 & 4-0).

Freshman Ajeej Sarkaria leads the conference in scoring with five goals in the four matches. Sarkaria has added a pair of assists giving him a total of seven points. Calum Jardine has added a pair of goals for Alberta in just three shots on goal.
