  1. Historical rivalry between the the Canada West's most winningest hockey teams continues. The rivalry began in 1911.   

  2. This is the first meeting between the rivals in 2017-18. Alberta was crowned the Canada West champions on March 5 in their last meeting. 

  3. The Huskies were 3-1 against Alberta in 2016-17. The loss came on October 14, 2016 in double OT in Edmonton.
