HALIFAX – The second seeded University of Saskatchewan Huskies will meet the third seeded St. Francis Xavier University X-Men in the first of two University Cup semfinals on Saturday at Scotia Bank Centre.
Saturday's first semifinal, set for 12 p.m. AT (9 a.m. SK), will be broadcast live on SportsNet 360. The game is also available on a pay-per-view basis at CIS-SIC.tv.
The two programs have met just once in their storied histories. The X-Men took that lone meeting 8-2 in the 1967 consolation final.

The Huskies advanced to the semifinal after a thrilling 3-2 quadruple overtime win over the Carleton Ravens. Parker Thomas' game winning goal 6:11 into the fourth overtime ended the longest game in University Cup history.
The X-Men knocked off two-time defending CIS champion Alberta Golden Bears in Thursday's second quarter-final. St. FX erased an early two-goal deficit with six straight goals in their 6-2 win.
The four remaining teams yet to play will battle for their spot in the semfinal Friday afternoon. The fifth-seeded UNB Varsity Reds meet the fourth-seeded Western Mustangs at 4 p.m. AT with the host Saint Mary's Huskies facing off against the top seeded UQTR Patriotes in the 8 p.m contest.
