This Is Our House!

The University of Saskatchewan Huskie football team will host three of its regular season home games under the lights and one in a Saturday afternoon matinee against conference rivals the Manitoba Bisons, Calgary Dinos, UBC Thunderbirds and Alberta Golden Bears.

Canada West conference action kicks off for the Huskies at home in a rematch of a 2013 semifinal with a date against the Manitoba Bisons on September 5. The Huskies return home on September 19 to face bitter rival the Calgary Dinos.

The Huskies add home dates against the UBC Thunderbirds on October 4 and the Alberta Golden Bears on October 25.

Kickoff for the September 5, September 19 and October 4 games is slated for 7 p.m., while the October 25 affair will be played at 1:30 p.m. All home games are at Griffiths Stadium in PotashCorp Park.

“Huskie football always appreciates the support and attention we get from our fans and the City of Saskatoon,” said Huskie head coach Brian Towriss, who will enter his 31st season at the helm. “We look forward to seeing each and everyone of you in the stands.”

Road trips for the Huskies include dates with the Golden Bears on September 13, Regina Rams on September 27 in the only meeting between the two provincial foes, Bisons on October 17 and the Thunderbirds on November 1.

CK750 will broadcast all Huskie football games live on 750 AM and www.ck750.com. Shaw Cable and canadawest.tv will also feature games throughout the season with the schedule to be announced at a later date.
