The CIS winter championship season kicks off on Thursday with swimming at the University of Calgary (Feb. 21-23). Three more national championships are scheduled next week, including women’s volleyball in Sherbrooke, Que. (Feb. 28 – March 2), men’s volleyball in Quebec City (March 1-3) and wrestling in London, Ont. (March 1-2).

The playoffs are under way across the country in volleyball and hockey. In basketball, the regular season wraps up this week in the RSEQ and AUS, while the post-season starts in OUA and Canada West.
