Huskie Employment Opportunities
Huskie Student Trainer
The Huskie Student Trainer Program places students with a Huskie Athletics University sports team for a season. Student Trainers are involved in pre-participation taping, injury prevention, acute injury recognition and management, administration of side-line strength and conditioning programs, and assisting with athlete treatment and rehabilitation. They are given the opportunity to apply their knowledge in anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics, and nutrition. Students interested in either Athletic Therapy, Physical Therapy or Exercise Therapy can explore these careers while volunteering under a Licensed Physiotherapist / Certified Athletic Therapist.
Applications are available from the Huskie Athletics Sport Health Centre, Room 190 PAC. Deadline for application is March 31. Contact the Huskie Athletics Head Therapist for more information.
