Point guard Jill Humbert played every minute of all three games at the 2010 CIS Women's Basketball Championship
Point guard Jill Humbert played every minute of all three games at the 2010 CIS Women's Basketball Championship helping to lead a team to a program-best CIS bronze medal.
In the first game of the tournament, Humbert scored 20 points including 17 in the first half to spark her team to their first win ever in a CIS quarter-final when they defeated Cape Breton 70-54. She also had five rebounds, 10 assists and two steals in the game. She was named player of the game.
In a 82-60 loss to Windsor in the semifinal, Humbert scored 16 points, five assists and two rebounds.
In the bronze medal 78-67 win over Regina, the fourth-year Kinesiology student scored 19 points, four rebounds and seven assists.
For her play in the three games, Humbert was named a tournament all-star. The first-ever in program history.

Huskie thrower Andrew Smith won a gold medal in the shot put and finished fourth in the weight throw
Huskie thrower Andrew Smith won a gold medal in the shot put and finished fourth in the weight throw at the CIS Championship in Windsor on the weekend.
Smith started the third day of competition with an outstanding 17.94-metre throw in the shot put to win the gold medal. The throw breaks Smith's own Huskie record set earlier this year at 17.22-metres. He beat the second place finisher by 1.19 metres. It is the second furthest all time in CIS Championship history.
A day earlier in the weight throw, Smith finished fourth with a toss of 16.63-metres.
