How would you describe your experience at the University of Saskatchewan?
My time at the University of Saskatchewan was truly one of the most memorable periods of my life; great institution, great athletics program, great people.
How would you say your choice to compete with Huskie Athletics shaped your professional life?
The discipline and dedication required to become a successful student-athlete was an invaluable learning tool that I took with me after graduation. Further, the contacts and networks that I created during my time as a Huskie Athlete not only prepared me for the transition into the Saskatoon business community, but also translated into a huge competitive advantage in my professional career.
Advice to current or prospective student athletes?
Enjoy every minute of your student-athlete experience. It’s an honor to be a part of the long-standing tradition of Huskie excellence.
Favorite Huskie Athletics memory?
Difficult to select just one, but an experience I’ll always cherish was winning a bronze medal as a member of Team Canada at the World University Games in Tarvisio, Italy in 2003.
How did your time with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies prepare you for life after college?
The people I encountered, the experiences I took part in, the lessons I learned, and the relationships I was fortunate enough to build during my time at the University of Saskatchewan have shaped who I am today – and will continue to shape my daily life both personally and professionally. I will always be proud to be a Huskie!
