James Shanahan

Jay Shanahan is the Interim Marketing Coordinator for Huskie Athletics. Shanahan spent four years working as the Sports Information Assistant for Huskie Athletics before stepping into the Marketing Coordinator role.
 
Prior to joining the University of Saskatchewan Shanahan was the Marketing Coordinator and Product Manager with Etraffic Solutions, a premiere online learning and textbook publishing house based out of Victoria BC, and Oviedo Florida.
 
Shanahan spent more than a decade working with numerous school districts in both the United States and Canada, establishing blended learning approaches to leadership development. Shanahan played a key role in the continued development of the Accelerated School Administrator Program and many other elearning programs designed to increase student achievement.
 
Shanahan has travelled all over North America speaking at conferences and trade shows about the impact of utilizing online learning to develop school principals, assistant principals and teachers more effectively. Shanahan was also the technology coordinator for the Council for Educational Change’s statewide Florida Leadership Academy from 2003-2007 in Tampa Fl.
