Dave Adolph is the 20th head coach of the University of Saskatchewan Huskie men’s hockey team. A former defenceman with the Huskies, Adolph has compiled an impressive record of 313-257-46 CIS coaching record.

Adolph holds the Canada West record with 525 career games with the Huskies in his 20 seasons. As head coach the Huskies, Adolph has guided his team to 18 consecutive post-season appearances (1994-2011) and five Canada West Championship titles.

Team success is not the only success he has garnered in his years as head coach. Dave was honoured in 1998 and 2000 as Canada West Coach of the Year, only the second Saskatchewan head coach with such accolades. In December 2004, Adolph received the honour of being named to the coaching staff of Hockey Canada’s National team. As assistant coach, he traveled with the squad to the Lotto Cup in Slovakia.

During his career as a Huskie hockey player and co-captain Adolph and his teammates captured three Canada West Championship titles and the team brought home the National title in 1983, the only National Championship captured by the Huskie Men’s Hockey team.

Prior to joining the Huskies as Head Coach, Adolph began his head coaching career with the University of Lethbridge in 1989 and stayed with the Pronghorns for four seasons.
